Prof. Ann Harris

I am a Professor of International Education in the School of Education and Professional Development at the University of Huddersfield. I have worked in various educational environments, including schools, colleges, and informal education. Prior to the University, I was Head of English in a sixth-form college.

I have traveled extensively, including professional commitments in Zambia, Nigeria, and The Gambia, and in China, Vietnam, the USA, and Australia. My academic research has been interdisciplinary around education and culture, English teaching, literacy, and international education. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the Higher Education Academy, and the Chartered Management Institute.
