Teachers were given ‘Story Sacks’ donated by Childhood Studies undergraduates from the University of Huddersfield, UK.

TTCSZ was fortunate to receive over 50 story sacks made and donated by Childhood Studies students at the University of Huddersfield. Many sacks were kept as part of TTCSZ’s library resources, but each teacher on the 2019 training programme was also given a story sack to help them teach English to young children in their particular community school.

Each sack included a story book, a non-fiction book and wonderful resources for several teaching activities. The story sacks caused great excitement in the training room! Special thanks to Childhood Studies students, University of Huddersfield.
